I like wordpress over xanga. I like being able to categorize my posts without necessarily tagging them. I like the look and feel of wordpress--much cleaner, less cluttered, less "spammy" looking. But xanga allows for free customization of the look, whereas in wordpress, users only have limited ability to customize unless they're willing to pay for a wordpress account. Oh, and xanga doesn't make it easy to migrate elsewhere... so if you want to keep your posts together on one site, you have to do it manually.
