Some people at work are making a point that my absence at work will be missed. I'm actually getting annoyed. Previously when I left my workplaces, people genuinely will miss you. But in this environment, it seems like the fact that you are leaving, means they have more work to do.

The weather has been nice the whole week, will be 20C tomorrow. The only bad thing is that I will have to wake up really early for a meeting where I have to present and I have to be there by 7:45am. The gas is not cheap either, its 117 and rising.

Tired....measles outbreak....are your vaccinations updated?

Wow, busy week. I did not go online for 2 days. Busy at work with outbreak, lots of confirmed Influenza for facilities. See, I know it, only Roxane left for the instituiton teams, and now we each have at least 2 facilities to take care of. Good thing I stayed behind, will have to do PSS next week. I shouldn't complain, my colleague, she got a confirmed measles...eek. Counting down the days...

On a happier note, decided to get some accessories for the car and a new car refresher, that can be reused.

The spongebob on my windshield, one of its hands does not stick anymore....time for a new one???

Woke up with back pain. All day at work I was so uncomfortable. I stretched but my muscles, but still, they slowly got more and more tight as I sat at my desk in the office. Ended up going home early. Good thing the office was quiet today. PSS-ing next 2 week, so I'll be out-and-about. Hopefully all is good with co-operative operators and nothing "hits the fan", because my cover-off will be at a conference for 2 weeks, another cover will be on vacation for 1 week. So out of our intitutions team, only 1/4 will be in the office.

Within this week, I slowly, individually told my team members that I'll be leaving them by the end of the month. It's not easy, but I need to do it. It's the only fair thing for them, and for me.

Last weekend, went to the Outdoor Sportmen's Show 2008 downtown at the Direct Enery Centre. It was packed, it took us awhile to find a parking spot, but luckily we didn't have to pay.

Also finally got a chance to go to "Chaco" a new Korean grill place up near Hwy7&Finch. The food is really good there, the fish is really fresh.

I'm actually slacking off right now *SHHHHH*. I took a break and walked over to the library...my cubicle is getting too cluttered with work.

Tickets are bought. Going to Hong Kong.

Nov. 29th - Dec. 13th 2008

I went to cut my hair last Saturday (in the snow storm). Dyed it blue, and my hair is shorter now, just above the shoulder.

Before we went to cut our hair, Doris and I had brunch at Woodside.

Then after we cut our hair, drove over to the new Destiny.

Very nice there, new items on the menu, very spacious.

Driving in the snowstorm, we were behind snow-removal trucks at one point (proves that they DO shovel), notice the car on the far left, the Lexus was trying to drive along-side the trucks, which is a big nono. The car keep breaking, couldn't "pass" the snow removal truck, cause the snow was coming out of the shovel...it should drive BEHIND, like us, but seems like a new driver. *sigh*

Started to have a fever at around 2pm today. My head got really dizzy went home early from work, can't really think properly anyways. Still feeling hot right now. I have no idea why I suddenly have a fever, hopefully I don't have the flu or something.

Arg. Not my lucky day today. Got hit by an on coming car while turning left. It was speeding pass the red light. This happened just right after I dropped Doris off at school. Not much damage, just the front bumper is cracked. There goes my insurance. It was a hassle just to report the whole incident, now I know why people just rather pay for the damages and don't go to the collision centre.
