  • Spent the whole day in Hamilton yesturday with Doris. By the time we got back to Toronto it was already 8ish and we didn't even eat dinner yet. Sorry Jess for not going to your gathering, but we were just too tired.

We stopped by the harbourfront cause the weather was so nice before we left Hamilton.

The boardwalk, in the second picture, its a steel mine far away, lots of smoke stacks there.

I was surprised that the sky was so blue and clear, usually there's a lot of smog around this city.

As you are leaving the city, there's lots of factories on both sides of the streets, the air smells like chemicals.

There's lots of factories in the city and the city has no people walking around, it's kinda wierd.

  • My supervisor finally signed the papers today. Sent the forms, hopefully everything is "smooth sailing" from now on.

The battery of my phone hasn't been working since Monday of this week. That really sucks cause when the battery goes from a cellphone, you really can't do anything about it. Hopefully the new battery will come soon and that this time around it'll last a little longer.

This week, another student came to join our team for training for another 6 weeks. We didn't know she was coming because her mentor was off on vacation and nobody told us, so we didn't plan anything for her. Oh well, we tried to show her around and start her off with some office work, hopefully she didn't get a bad impression from us.

I took some people in my team to drink Bubble Tea today, it was fun trying to explain to them what tapioca is and explaining the flavours to them. All who have tried so far liked it, so that's not a bad start...next up.....Japanese Karoke!!!!

my mom went shopping and bought this crystal cake for my aunt (her sister) as a present, it looks really nice

  •  Hurtles hurtles and more hurtles. I want to just give up. Maybe my timing is not right. Should I just give up now and maybe try again later, or keep at it??? I DON'T KNOW ANYMORE! *sigh*

  • Wow this weekend was tiring. Fun but tiring. First we went to have dim sum then we went to cottage at Strict's cottage near Peterborough afterwards. It was fun, I didn't catch anything big again which is a disappoint for me this year. There's lots of food at the cottage and the house we stayed in was pretty decent and warm with lots of hot water. Learned and played Cranium, Taboo and figured out what "The monkey counts slowly" game is, but still can't fiqure out what the "O.K." game is. Today turned out to be sunny with clouds so it was perfect weather for out door activities. Doris did some canoeing and I did some paddle-boat site seeing. Even had a BBQ which was filling with lots of good foods including the fishes we caught. I think I will need lots of coffee tommorrow as I just got back home. Home sweet home.

  • 天灰 - S.H.E

It's been very gloomy and cold lately. If feels like fall. You know that feeling where its not quite winter yet, but in the morning its so cold when you get out of the blankets, you wished the heat was on...its a little too early for this coldness, I haven't packed away all my summer clothes yet. With all the hurricanes, floods and earthquake going on around the world, a little cold weather is not bad compared to others who have to suffer more.

  • I submitted my BOC documents today.

  • IBM X40, awesome! Thanks Doris for bidding on ebay for me. I was so happy when Doris called me at work and told me it arrived.

Wanted to go watch Rush Hour 3 today...the first theatre we went to, the tickets were sold out. The second theatre, I got off while Doris went to look for a parking spot. There was a line-up so I used the computer to pay...Just about 1-2 minutes after my tickets got printed I looked at the board to see what other shows times there were and to my surprise, the shows were sold out! When Doris finally got a spot, we were about 15 minutes late and thinking that the room would be back we took a quick look to see if there's any good seats left. There was none and we went to refund our tickets, there was just too much teenagers in that theatre. We ended up eating ice-cream on Main Street in Unionville. The night was warm, not too breezy with plenty of children and dogs to look at.

P.S. It's taste of Danforth this weekend, Chinatown Festival, Hot and Spicy Food Festival at Harbourfront and Toronto Festival of Beer. Oh and we saw around Main St that Open Doors (at Unionville) on Aug. 25-26th, for more events please go here.

  • First day of August, went to see The Simpsons Movie. Very funny, I would recommend it if you want a good laugh. A new person joined our team at work today, turns out she used to be my classmate. I think we both are happy that we get to work together again. There's Ribfest at Thompson Park this weekend, this long weekend is so packed with gatherings and BBQ's I'm happy it's so lively.

  • Went to see Ocean's 13 yesturday. It was good, not that much people cause everyone went to see Simpsons the Movie. The movie was good, the camera technic was a litte better then the second one. Cast was good and plot was funny in certain parts.

Another beautiful weekend, wow, its the end of July already...summer months always passes so fast.
